Today I came to share the experience of a night without electricity
Every day of our life is filled with different moments. Sometimes those moments shine brightly, sometimes they are shrouded in darkness. Just like today's powerless night. It's a different experience, where our everyday companions disappear with the light; During that time we reinvent ourselves.
After the power goes out, there is first a pressing discomfort. Our electronic devices, fans, lights all stop instantly. The city seems to have stopped. The lack of artificial light, noise suddenly makes our surroundings more vivid. All of a sudden, I hear the chirping of insects, the gentle movement of leaves, or the barking of a dog somewhere in the distance.
Cooking with lights on while cooking is also quite uncomfortable but somewhat enjoyable, if someone is around to help.
On the other hand, the absence of electricity brings some relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. At this time we have time to talk to ourselves, to touch our inner depths. Someone may be sitting in a corner of the room lighting a piece of candle, the soft light of that candle creates a kind of peaceful illusion.
Many times, such blackouts bring us closer to each other. During this time, family members sit together to talk, reminisce, or discuss things that may not be possible at other times. Looking up at the night sky, they see the stars shining brightly, which may be lost in the rush of light.
Power outage can be a memorable experience in our life if we know how to enjoy it. This is an opportunity to get lost in solitude and discover yourself in a new way. In this technology-dependent life, we can see life a little differently, perceive it a little differently, by going without electricity at times.
These powerless moments are therefore a strange chapter not only of darkness, but also of light, where we can see ourselves, our lives, in another way.
Hope you like it. Thank you all for reading my post. Stay well everyone, stay healthy.
