I am here again to participate in the Steemit engagement challenge season 17 week3 in #steem fo Bangladesh Community. I am excited to publish my article on this week's engagement challenge with the title of - "Express Your Love For National Flag." Let's start,

Is there any history behind the formation of your national flag? If so, what happened?

---

A flag is a symbol of a country's independence. Every independent sovereign state has its own flag. Bangladesh is an independent country and has its own flag. There is a history behind this type of flag formation that has not been seen in any other country's independence in the world. Bangladesh is the only country which has fought a long bloody war for 9 months for independence or for the formation of the national flag, and our national flag has been obtained at the cost of 3 million martyrs. History is very glorious in this national flag formation of our country. Before 1971, there were parts of Pakistan called East Pakistan and West Pakistan. Bangladesh was a part of Pakistan which was called East Pakistan. At that time the people of West Pakistan were doing various unjust atrocities on the people of East Pakistan as a result of which all the people of East Pakistan came together to stand against that oppression and as a result war broke out between the two parts. After that war, East Pakistan lost the people of West Pakistan and gave rise to an independent sovereign new state called Bangladesh. And the people of Bangladesh got a new flag. The flag of the dream of millions of people is the flag earned by millions of martyrs.

What do the different colors or symbols on your national flag represent?

The national flag of Bangladesh has two colors one is red and the other is green. The two colors of the flag have a different significance. The size of the flag with poison is 10:6. The designer of the national flag is Kamrul Hasan. After listening to the history of our national flag, I think you have already understood what the two colors of our national flag stand for. Still, I would be proud to talk about it with you again.

Red is the symbol of the rising sun. Also the color red carries a little more important meaning which is the symbol of the blood of the martyrs. I have already said that our country has been acquired by the blood of 3 million martyrs. A red circle is given in the middle of our national flag to remember those martyrs. The greatness of this circle of red color is very much for us.

The national flag of Bangladesh is a rectangular jar with red in the center and green around. This green color is selected to represent the Bengali nature. The soil of Bangladesh is fertile and various types of crops are grown on the soil of this country and whenever you see the crop field of Bangladesh, there is only greenery all around. The green color of our national flag has been used in all the drops of this green. Every afternoon we see our national flag amidst the red sun setting on the green field.

How does your national flag represent your country on the world stage?

The national flag of Bangladesh represents Bangladesh in many ways on the world stage but most of all it represents the heritage of Bangladesh. The colors of the national flag of Bangladesh are witness to different history. Besides, the national flag of Bangladesh highlights the green nature of Bangladesh to the world.
Bangladesh flag represents the country in any kind of cultural program. There are 7 World Heritage sites of Bangladesh recognized by UNESCO which represent Bangladesh in the world. Also in any kind of international and national games the flag of Bangladesh is hoisted along with many flags of the world which is a great pride for Bangladesh.

I have a lot of love and respect for the national flag of Bangladesh because this flag is our pride. Bangladesh is the only country in the world that fought for a flag. Below I express my love for the national flag of Bangladesh through my creativity. I like painting so I will present the flag of Bangladesh through one of my paintings.

Materials Used:

Paint (red and green)
Thin brush
Marker Pens (Red and Green)

I draw the flag on my palm to show my love for the country's flag. First, I make a national flag rectangle shape on my hand with a thin brush.

Then I draw the circle in the center of my national flag. I will apply red colour letter.

Then fill in my flag green color. Here I use water colour.

Now it’s time to fill the circle with red and finish my drawing.

When I finish drawing the national flag, I write the name of my country below. I hope you like this Bangladeshi flag that I made.

"Bangladesh" is a wonder to the whole world and our pride.
