Betterlife - The Diary Game | 02 October, 2024 | A Rainy day...

It's been raining continuously for the past two days. I think it might rain throughout this entire week, and then the rainy season will probably end for this year. It was raining heavily since morning. I was waiting for the rain to stop so that I could go out and finish my tasks.

So, after waiting for a while when the rain had subsided a bit, I went out with my umbrella. I had to visit near a steel rolling mill area and Sitakunda Upazila to complete some work. My father was waiting for me at the steel rolling mill gate as I had to talk to him about something.

I spent quite some time there with my father. After completing the work there, I say goodbye to my father and set out to reach my next destination, Sitakunda Upazila. However, the previous destination was quite far from my area, so I reached there by a public transport.

Unlike other times when the bus was full of passengers but the bus was almost empty due to the rain. I was sitting on a seat next to the window and enjoying the outside environment. Nature seems to regain its freshness during the rainy season. After traveling for about 30 minutes, I reached my destination and completed my important work.

After completing my work, I went to the nearby market area to buy some good fruits. Since I can get genuine things in the Sitakunda market, I also thought of buying some fruits for home. As soon as I reached the front of the market area, a fruit van caught my eye.

At first, I thought I would buy from inside the market but the fruits in the van looked attractive to me. The seller was selling a special type of orange which is not commonly found in our local market. Since these are mainly hill oranges, they are very rarely available.

I bought some fruits, including oranges and amla. Amla is quite available this season than at other times of the year and it is very good for maintaining hair and skin health. Many people find it very difficult to chew amla because it is very bitter but I can eat a few amlas at once without any kind of problem.

I had no more shopping to do, so I left the market area and was heading towards the bus stand from there when I noticed that a lot of water had accumulated on the main road due to the rain. If I had walked to cross the road, I might have faced a lot of problems, so I took an auto-rickshaw to cross the market road and reached the station.

I returned home on time and it was still raining heavily. When the rain stopped a little in the afternoon, I went to the roof of our house to see how our garden plants were, because it had been raining very heavily throughout the day. I went to the garden and found everything to be alright. However, I have a plan to make some changes when the sun comes out.

I spent the evening completing some online tasks, and the rest of my time was spent on my usual activities. As of today, I am leaving here. Wishing you all good health.
