Betterlife - The Diary Game | 13 June, 2024 | Dealing with crowds at the bank, receiving my parcel and enjoying a traditional meal.

Eid is very near that's why people are trying to finish their various duties because in the next 3-4 days all the government and private institutions of our country will be closed. I have to go to the bank most of the time on Thursday as I have to pass checks and deposit cash on this day.

After having breakfast in the morning, I reached there at around 10 o'clock when the bank hour started, because people will do more transactions on the occasion of Eid, so it is normal to be crowded. But after reaching early, I noticed that there are people standing in line to do their bank transactions and pay their electricity bills.

First I stood in line and passed the checks then I stood in a different line to deposit because both transaction counters were different. It was around 12 o'clock to finish all my work in the bank.

Then I got a call from a courier brother who was already standing outside our house. It was a cash on delivery so I completed my payment as quickly as possible and received the parcel.

3 days ago I ordered a perfume from Shajgoj online platform. This was a combo pack of 2 perfumes of 30 ml by fogg brand. The price of this is 460 taka including delivery charge which is equivalent to 18 steem.

After lunch, my mother gave me some litchis which were red in color. It is a seasonal fruit but should not be eaten in excess. The litchis I ate were very juicy and delicious.

In the afternoon I rested for a while. After taking rest, I noticed that it was raining outside in the evening. I enjoyed the luxury of rain for quite some time.

There are some special dishes to enjoy during the rainy season. Many people cook spicy food like kichuri, pakoda etc. But that day my mother cooked a traditional dish called Khoi Bichi.

This food includes coconut, potato, almonds, fried oats, milk etc. This is especially cooked during the rainy weather of this time of the year and my mother cooks this for us at least once every year. It tastes a bit runny but it's good to eat.

It rained continuously till night due to which I completed online activities from home during that time. As the next day was a holiday, I watched some funny videos before going to bed at night.
