“President Abdul Hamid's House” of Kishoreganj, Journey by boat @rumanmia

I am Mohammad Ruman Mia. Today I will share with you my boat trip. It is a very pleasant and interesting experience of my life. During the last Eid-ul-Azha, a few of us planned a boat trip together. We set our travel destination as “President Abdul Hamid's House, Mithameen, Kishoreganj.”

I went to President Abdul Hamid's house, Mithaimon, Kishoreganj with my family and relatives. Our President's house is by the river and the easiest way to get there is by boat. We rented a boat for a whole day. We started the journey at 10 am. There were two sailors in the boat. It was an engine boat. There were about 20 members in the boat.

The boat started moving. It was a medium boat. In the boat, some people were sitting on wooden stools and some people were sitting inside. After sailing we got busy with various activities. Some of them were reading books, some were reading newspapers, some were chatting, some were listening to music and some were eating fruits and nuts.

The rainy season can be a good time to travel by boat. All the rivers are filled with water during monsoon. At this time, let the rivers regain their youth. Most of the roads in this police station are submerged in monsoon water. Their only means of transportation is by boat. They travel from one area to another by boat. Even during rains, many villages are submerged in water. Then the villages seem like an island. The view of both sides of the river from the boat was very beautiful. I saw some fishermen fishing in the river. They were singing "Bhatiyali Song". I saw many small and big boats moving in the river. The air was also fresh. The boat was stopped at some places on the way. We bought some dry food and water for ourselves.

We reached our destination at 12.30 pm after traveling for about two and a half hours. Our President's house was a short distance from where we got off the boat. It took us only five minutes to walk there.
We all toured President Abdul Hamid's house and took some nice pictures. Then we finished our lunch. After resting for some time, we all explored the presidential areas. By 5 pm we all returned to the boat and we reached our home in the evening.
We enjoyed the boat trip very much. It was one of the happiest experiences of my life. I recorded such a beautiful and enjoyable boat trip in memory of my life.
