Going to the park for a trip on the occasion of the scholarship program//travelling moments//05-03-2025

I hope that, by Allah's grace, you are all well and healthy. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well, thanks to your prayers. Today, I have come to share my experience of visiting the park with you all. So, without further ado, let me jump into my story.

Many people around the world are travel enthusiasts. However, as girls, we cannot just go out on spontaneous trips whenever we wish. It's not that we have a shortage of money; rather, we do not easily get permission to go out, nor can we travel alone just whenever we feel like it. There was a scholarship awarding ceremony for my younger sisters at their madrasa. The program was held in a park called Dream Holiday Park, located in the Chaitab area of Narsingdi district. Around 10:30 AM, I set off with my younger sister and my son. It took us nearly 30 minutes to reach the park. Once we got to the park, it was delightful to see the kids enjoying themselves. We had to buy tickets to enter the park, so I purchased three tickets for us. Tickets for children aged three to ten years were priced at 250 Tk each, and for adults, meaning anyone over 12 years, the ticket price was set at 350 Tk. Since my younger sisters were coming from the madrasa, they got free entry. After entering the park, we all took some time to look around. We also took pictures in several places to keep as memories.

The scholarship program was scheduled to start at 12 PM. So we were all visiting different areas of the park. My son and sister wanted to take pictures with a statue. The statue depicted a person sitting alongside a frog from the Liberation War. I clicked several photos for them. Then the kids started saying that they were hungry. They were insisting on eating puchka (a type of snack). So I ordered puchka for them.

Afterward, it was time for our program. We headed to the spot where the stage had been set up for the event, which was called Miami. We all went up to the stage and took our respective seats. Then our event started. My younger sister received an A+ in her scholarship exam, so she was called up to the stage to receive her honorarium. She was very happy to receive her scholarship award. After the program wrapped up, we all explored the park in our own ways.

Later, we went to a canteen and bought cake, biscuits, cold drinks, and ice cream for a light snack. We spent some time there eating together before heading back out to explore the park again. However, halfway through, my phone's battery died, which is why I couldn't capture the beautiful spots inside the park and the rides in photographs. That really made me quite upset.

By the time we had finished exploring the park all day, it was nearly evening. After that, we all returned home in our own ways. That's all for today. May you all stay well, healthy, and safe. Please keep us in your prayers.
