Prime General Hospital (I had an appointment there)//24-02-2025

Peace be upon you. I hope all my friends are in good health and well by the grace of Allah. I have been feeling quite unwell for the past few days, which is why I am struggling to stay active with my work. Anyway, without prolonging our conversation, I will get straight to my post.

For the past few days, I have been facing a serious problem with my right ear. Water was leaking from it, and the itching started from that ear and reached my throat. I had been thinking about seeing a doctor for several months, but I neglected this issue and did not take it seriously. There was a hospital near my house where I secured an appointment to see an ENT specialist.The name of the hospital is Prime General Hospital. It is a private hospital. The first visit with the doctor I am seeing costs 800 taka, and the second visit costs 500 taka.

Every Saturday, the doctor comes to our Shitala Bari Prime General Hospital. So, I went to the hospital with my mother around 3 PM. Upon arriving at the hospital, I found that the doctor had not yet arrived. Therefore, I sat for a while with my mother and chatted. At one point, I started feeling very tired just sitting there, so I went outside to have a cup of tea. However, I couldn't find tea, so I bought a packet of chips from a canteen. The chips were fairly good for the price.

Since my appointment was first on the list, I went in quickly. However, that day, the doctor was very late. He arrived at the hospital around 5 PM. After arriving, the doctor performed his Asr prayer and had his lunch. Then he called me into his chamber.Once in the chamber, he observed me for quite a while. I was not mentally prepared for what the doctor had to say. After hearing his initial remarks, I felt very emotionally shattered. He informed me that my right eardrum had ruptured, there was some infection in my left ear, and additionally, the soft bone in my nose had become crooked. As a result, my allergy and asthma problems have significantly worsened.

Hearing all this from the doctor left me feeling very disappointed. At one point, he comforted me by saying there was nothing to be afraid of. He prescribed me medication for a week and also ordered an X-ray and two blood tests. I need to go back next Saturday for the reports of these two tests.

After that, I exited and went to a pharmacy to collect my necessary medicines. Meanwhile, a strong wind and light rain had begun outside. It was around 7 PM. We somehow managed to take an auto and returned home.

Day by day, I feel like I am deteriorating physically and emotionally. Please pray for me that Allah may keep me healthy. Everyone, keep me in your prayers, and I will try to continue with my work, InshaAllah.
