SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"

Hope you all are doing well and good and enjoying the best days of your life. This is me @shahid2030 from Pakistan and you are here reading my post. You all are welcome here from the core of my heart.

This is my participation in a contest Season of My Country organized in Steem For Bangladesh by @steem4bangladesh.

I come from a country called Pakistan. It's a south Asian country with too much beauty. It is blessed with all the four seasons of the year. We can enjoy Summer, Winter, Spring and autumn. I think this is one of the few countries in the world blessed with four seasons of the year.

My favorite season is winter. I am really happy in it and enjoy it. The reason is because summer is too hot here. Even it sometimes reach upto 46° and 47°. I really love snowfall and I would say that this is the reason I call winter my favorite one. Another reason is winter is moderate too. Further more I like winter's spicy dishes.

This would most definitely be summer. I really hate it, and I want to skip it forever. As I said summer is extremely hot in Pakistan and even some cities are hit by extreme heat waves. It's the longest season in Pakistan about 5 to 6 months.

It's too hard to counter summer season. It need High equipment and technology. For example in winter, if you feel cold you can wear heavy coats, gloves and shoes. You can freely go outside. For summer what will you do to counter it. You can only go outside in cars having AC Available, at home you will need AC and these things are not in range of everyone. Poor people can't efford it.

Morever their are too much insects and poisonous reptiles, which I hate the most. Their are too much mosquitoes, cockroaches, lizards and things like that which I really hate.

I remember in my school days our teacher told us that if their wasn't the tall mountains of Northern areas of Pakistan, it would allow the cold wind coming from Russia to enter our country and Pakistan would be the country having 9 months extreme weather here. I wish those Mountains doesn't exist.

As far the activities are concerned, I'll start discussing about the activities in the winter seasons as it is my favorite season. You might see huge traffic on the roads leading towards northern areas to witness the snow fall. The northern areas turn white in winter but sometimes they face difficulties because the roads might be blocked by snow and your journey might be affected. People use to play football more in winter than other seasons because football makes you sweat more.

The season opposite to the one discussed in above para is summer and it is incomplete without jumping into a swimming pool in your town but one should make sure that the water is clean as hygiene is more important. Some people from the warm region also visit the cold region of the country to enjoy two completely opposite season at the same time in the same country.

The other two seasons, i.e., Spring and autumn are for very short time and due to hard physical work load people of Pakistan consider them as summer.

Pakistan and her neighbor countries are famous for the street foods. The taste of Local Daaba food items on the roadside sometimes taste more than any 3 star restaurant that too with so low and affordable prices.

In winter, People use to have "Chai"(tea) for 3-5 times a day which also make you feel warm. Additionally a hot soup by a local daaba, and the chapli kabab are of high value of the season.

Gaany ka raas(sugar cane juice) and lemon paani(lemon water) recover the water and salt level of your body that is wasted in the form of sweat in the hot weather.
