Dear friends, I will join Exploration-s23w2 /Fuego🔥. right now, where my dear teacher @karianaporras has taught me very beautifully.I will join that challenge and try to show some great activities in the second week, God willing.Without further ado, let me get straight to the solutions to my homework.

1. Realizar la Clasificación literal de la Leña según la indicación de este tutorial.

IMG_20250302_212722.jpg

Below are the materials organized according to what I learned in this class. Here is our tinder that I have categorized according to.

(i) Natural cotton
(ii) Dry leaves
(iii) tree bark.
(iv) Thin branches.
(v) Small branches.
(vi) Medium firewood.
(vii) Firewood or thick logs.

I have tried to explain these perfectly in the image above.

I'm trying my best to build a bonfire from what I've learned from the classification of firewood. And I will try to explain the steps, but before that, I have presented a video with the steps here, which shows them in detail, but I am trying to analyze it better to the best of my ability.

Making a bonfire

I am writing the steps to make it here:
  • First I cleaned the ground.

  • Then I dug a hole in the ground and dug a stick with which I will place the stick and necessary materials for firing.

  • Spread the dry leaves with the sharp side of a stick buried in the ground. At the same time, we will spread out all the small trunks and barks that are on the trees.

  • When it was finished, I tested it by lighting a fire with it, although it burned for a long time and it was quite effective.

3.Construye dos Fuegos, estos no hace falta encenderlos, explica el paso a paso con detalle y que utilidad práctica podemos darle?

I am currently building two fires and will try to provide them with step-by-step descriptions and videos.Just as I took pictures of each fire in several stages of making it, I tried to include complete videos of each fire. Of course, the first thing I did was create a pyramid fire. It wasn't possible to make a full video of it, but I did make a video with pictures to mark it.

The two fires I created are:

1. Pyramid

2. Reflector

Pyramid fire:

First step:

First, the area where the fireplace will be built must be thoroughly cleaned. Then, the soil must be dug up to bury the poles that will be used to set up the fire pit.

2nd step:

To create a pyramid fire, the base in the middle is the one that needs to be buried first, as I have shown in the picture. A strong stick should be buried like this.

3rd Steps:

Dry leaves should be spread around the base. And this should be done with great seriousness.

4th step:

Now, you need to place a solid piece of wood on all four sides of the foundation. Then this pyramid fire will be created in the shape of a pyramid and cotton or something like that should be placed in the very middle to light the fire on top of it.

Pyramid Fire Making

In this video I have beautifully shown the steps to making a pyramid fire.

Reflector fire:

step -1:

IMG_20250302_213613.jpg

To build this fire, you first need to select a suitable place. And there you have to bury more than one stick in the ground.I have buried two sticks in the ground here.

step-2:

A wall made of solid wood should be built behind the fire pit so that wind does not blow in from behind. And covered from all sides with small pieces of wood.

Step-3:

IMG_20250302_211253.jpg

It is covered on three sides and left open on one side, from which the wood or large fuel will be placed inside.A reflector fire has been created here, roughly initially.

step-4:

I had to put pieces of hardwood inside it, and at the same time, I put all the wood and fuel I had inside it.And I took pictures of it from both sides to make it clearer.

Reflector Fire making

Here I have tried to clearly explain the methods of making Reflector Fire in the video.I am very sorry for not being able to complete the tasks very nicely. And to translate my writing into English.

4.Que te pareció la experiencia? Que otros tipos de fuego conoces? Que usos le darías a los tipos de fuego en tu cotidianidad?

These are truly great experiences, but the experiences take some time to put into practice.Like today. As you probably know, I mentioned before that I am a member of Rover Scouts, so I have a fair idea about these various camps. However, fires used for cooking purposes are a constant occurrence in everyday life.I have practiced various firing methods, including bonfires, pyramids, etc.

There is a general idea about all types of arson, including crisscross fires, pyramids, log cabins, lintels, and star fires. These have not been practiced for a long time, but now that I get to do these activities, I remember those times and remember the various comedic acts in Scouting very well.Just a few days ago, I saw my younger brothers completing these tasks. They really remind me of the scouts of my childhood.Which was a part of my activities until recently.

Expressing gratitude, thank you very much for paying attention to me, dear.I didn't do that well, but I tried hard enough to explain it to everyone in a simple way, that's all.
