I hope you are in God's mercy. Alhamdulillah I am fine with my family. How many friends for Rahmat Eid. I finished Eid morning and returned from the village today. Today I will tell you some stories about Ili.

Friends, Eid means happiness. And to increase this happiness even more, on the eve of Eid, girls' mehndi festival is held from house to house. There is no Eid without henna. It's heart-warming to see different types of mehndi on everyone's hands. This is my mehndi-wearing hand. Although I didn't draw it. Vasur's girls have arranged it.

Then on the day of Eid, I got up early and cleaned the house. After that I bathed the children. Everyone is getting ready after putting on new Punjabi pajama hat and applying perfume. They will go to the Eidgah and pray.

On Qurbani Eid we always sacrifice cow. I like a rule of our village. That is when everyone takes their sacrificial animals while going to Eid prayers. These animals are tied to the trees around our Eidgah grounds. Then when the prayer is over, Huzur slaughters all the sacrificial animals one by one. He sits there and skins the animals, cuts the meat and completes it. Then one-third of the total meat is handed over to the mosque committee. Then bring the meat home.

Now it's time to cook and eat. Due to the heavy rain on the day of Eid, I could not take all the pictures well. I am trying to share what I can.

The cooking was finished around 3:30 then I let everyone eat. About 12 to 14 guests were coming at night, I let everyone eat. Friends I really love to entertain guests. This is how I shared my Eid joy with my family.

My kids are very happy to pray Eid prayers with everyone. Uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers and sisters all enjoyed the joy of Eid very happily. Everyone has traveled a lot.
