I welcome you all to my blog once again. It's a privilege on my part to join the contest hosted here in this community by @mdkamran99 on the topic that says My memories of 2024. Indeed the year 2024 is gradually coming to an end and it is important we have a review of the year and this is the main essence of this amazing contest.

Every year that comes and go we have some memories that we will always remember or talk about and the year 2024 is not an exception. This contest today has offered me the opportunity to discuss the many memories I had in 2024 so I urge you all to read till the end of this post and see the memories I had for 2024.

I will be using the contest tips provided by the contest organiser as a guide to enable me participate effectively in this contest. So let's try answering these questions one after the other.

✅ What is your best moment in 2024? Briefly tell us.

My best moment in the year 2024 was the moment I was called upon at the monthly performance evaluation meeting (MPR) in my place of work and then given a recognition award as the best branch manager in Microcima Africa.

It all started when I got employed officially for the first time after my degree programme. I was given the position of a branch manager in Akwanga Nasarawa State due to the competence I showed during my interview and training section.

As a new person in the system, I dedicated my time and resources in learning how the business works and after a period of dedication and learning I became the first BM who didn't pass through steps to achieve my position.

In other to show my competence I worked day and night in ensuring my branch stand out among others. In the first month I headed the branch we came out as the best among others and for that reason I was given recognition on the very day we had an MPR meeting.

I was called out and then an envelope ✉️ with some cash was handed over to me and I was also given the floor to discuss with other or share my strategy with other Branch managers as to how I was able to achieve such success within the shortest possible time. I told them everything that made my branch a success.

✅ Do you think 2024 was the best year for you? Give reasons for your answer.

Though 2024 was one of the most challenging years I had but it is also my best year because of the numerous achievement I made in the year both online here on Steemit and offline in real life. Here I will be discussing my achievements online and offline for the year 2024 which make me consider it as the best.

Firstly, I will start with my achievements on the Steemit platform. I want to say that I have grown exceedingly in the year 2024 in this noble platform because I was able to hit my first 50K SP. This achievement kept me apart among many Nigerian Steemians also I was able to get myself involved in Teaching team as a professor and also as a curator for the month of December.

My achievements offline include securing a job, getting an offer of scholarship and also getting admission to study abroad for my Master's programme. These achievement I consider as the best because it all came to me in the year 2024. So you can see that both online and offline I excel and that is why I consider the year 2024 as the best.

✅ What special thing will you miss in 2024?

One major thing that I will miss in the year 2024 is my time on the Steemit platform because I'm certain that if I'm starting my studies as proposed, I won't have the complete time to be on Steemit as I'm at the moment.

Currently, I follow all the happening on the platform and I'm always very much ready to join any program or initiative that comes from the Steemit team. In 2024, I worked as a professor in the teaching team and also as a curator because I have the full time to do what I want.

So my time and activities on the Steemit platform is what I will miss so much but it is of good though because with more studies and education I will be able to represent the platform better. I'm sure that the knowledge acquired through my studies can be shared here as well.

✅ Are you happy about the arrival of 2025? Tell us about your special plans in 2025.

Yes, I'm happy about the arrival of the year 2025. Everyone despite the roughness of the previous year will delightfully welcome the new year with joy and hope and my case is not different. I'm so delighted to see the year 2025 because to me it is a year of expectations for many things we hoped for.

In this year, my plan is to grow both on the Steemit platform and in my real life. I may not be steady on the platform but my target is to ensure that a day doesn't pass me by without making a post. So in order to remain consistent I will ensure I drop a post daily in the platform.

Also, I intend to focus on my studies the best ways I can and also ensure that I come out with one of the best results they world will ever think of. So in my studies I will ensure I come out the best and this entails more work and studies on my part.

✅ What do you want to achieve in 2025 and why? tell us.

---

In 2025, my target is to hit 80K SP atleast and the reason for such desire is not far fetched. As a Steemian, we all know that the higher your SP the more curation reward you earn when voting on other peoples post.

As a Nigerian, there is no individual with such a Steem Power at the moment and I believe it will do me a lot of good if I'm able to build my Steem power to such an amount because in doing so I can support more people with a more meaningful upvote.

Also, I want to achieve a good result in my Master's programme and also get the needed knowledge which I will transfer to others when I have the opportunity to share my thoughts or knowledge in the platform.

I have earned a lot from the platform I have also learn a lot from the platform and for that reason, I believe strongly that it is just natural that I give back to the platform what they have give to me and I will do that by sharing my knowledge with everyone on the platform.
