How are you all? Hope everyone is well by the grace of the Almighty. Wishing everyone a blessed month of Ramadan.
I have seen from my school life that my Muslim friends observe the month of Ramadan with great devotion. At the end of Ramadan, the day of Eid is determined by looking at the moon and then Eid is celebrated. On the day of Eid, everyone wears new clothes and goes to the Eidgah Maidan to offer prayers. Today I will tell you about an Eidgah Maidan located in my city which I visited without any plan.

On That Day⏰

I basically went to Green Library in Munsipara on this day to buy some of my required books. On that day I completed all my morning activities like every day. I left home at 9:30 am to go to Green Library. The library was in Munsipara. It takes 30 minutes to walk from my house to Munsipara. So I walked to Munsipara that day. I went to the library and bought two books that I needed (Saiful’s student vocabulary and Saiful’s English Literature). There were a lot of people in the library that day. So somehow I walked out of the library through the crowd and accidentally met a childhood friend of mine. The name of my friend is Shammi Akter Surovi. Seeing her after a long time, I didn't want to say goodbye to her just by saying hello.

The big field of Dinajpur was nearby. So we decided that we will go to the big field and chat for a while and will remember the old days. Both of them left in a rickshaw and after a while reached the big field of Dinajpur. The big field was on the right-hand side and On the left-hand side was the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

We entered the big field. First I saw a big banyan tree. And below that are the chatpati, fuchka, and muri-makha shops. From a distance, I vaguely saw an Eidgah. I saw many boys playing cricket, football, and basketball on the field. Actually, the ground was very big. So many players were playing many types of games with enough space.

My friend told me,Dost👩‍❤️‍👩, you know!

This big ground is the biggest Eidgah ground in Bangladesh.

I heard from her and expressed my interest to go to the Eidgah. Since the boy was playing in the middle, we decided to go to Eidga from the right side.

Visiting the Eidgah🍁🍁

On the right side of the field was a very large Shaheed Minar. Almost all the educational institutions of Dinajpur come to this Shaheed Minar on February 1 to offer flowers and banners. A short distance away I saw Dinajpur Sports Village. However, we did not enter there. Then after going some distance we saw Eidgah. On the day of Eid, about four lakh people offer prayers here, and of course, the field was cleaned up very nicely that day. After taking pictures of the Eidgah for a while, we came back through the left side. After seeing the Eidgah, we sat on the chairs arranged under the banyan tree. After chatting for a while, I said goodbye to my girlfriend and returned home. After returning home and resting for a while, I googled about Eidgah Maidan.

Searching on Google, I found that it is the largest Eidgah Maidan not only in Bangladesh but in the whole of South Asia. I felt proud thinking that my country may be small in size but My country has a large reputation to make us proud.
