Betterlife - The Diary Game | August 10, 2024 | A day in my life balancing between home duties and outdoor fun.

Today , I want to share a random day from my life which was filled with balancing household chores and outdoor activities. Like every morning - I got up early , freshened up, and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. That day my breakfast was simple: an oil-free chapati , some vegetables and a boiled egg.I'm trying to reduce my meal portions because I've noticed I'm gaining some weight , so I'm consciously working towards a balanced lifestyle. After breakfast , I always take a cup of tea but nowadays it has become sugar-free, and I'm trying to make it a regular part of my morning routine.

Once the morning tasks were out of the way , I spent some time with my daughter before returning to the kitchen to oversee lunch preparations. After serving lunch , I faced the daily challenge of feeding my daughter—a task that often involves a negotiation of whether she will eat while watching TV or using a mobile device. Once I finished my lunch , I retreated to my bed and spent some time reading—a pastime I used to love, but nowadays, with my busy schedule, it’s become harder to find the time. However, I'm making an effort to rediscover this passion.

After a lazy and cozy late afternoon , we had another plan to spend our time with friends and colleagues. We found a beautiful spot near our home , a place with a pond in front of it where you can watch planes taking off from a nearby runway. We all gathered there, sat by the pond, and spent a lot of time admiring the beauty of nature, gossiping, and giggling. Meanwhile, all the kids were playing and enjoying their time.

As the evening progressed, we were served some delicious snacks—there was "gilapi," "singara," "noodles," "fuchka," and "peyeju." We thoroughly enjoyed the food , savoring every bite while spending quality time together. After the snacks, tea was served, and we continued to enjoy the beautiful evening, relishing each other's company while the children played and watched the planes.

After spending a wonderful time with friends and colleagues , we made a quick trip to the nearby bazar for groceries. Once all the groceries were done , we headed home. It was a simple , random day filled with a mix of home and outdoor activities , yet it was deeply fulfilling.

That's a glimpse into my day—a balance of daily routines, spending quality time with loved ones, and appreciating the small joys in life.
