Laughter is the universal language of happiness. With friends or at happy events, laughter drives away sadness. A smile etched from laughter frees the mind from burdens. Laughter is an escape without sadness, an embrace of life full of joy and warmth.

Laughter relieves depression. What is your opinion?

Laughter can provide a pinch of lightness in overcoming symptoms of depression, even though it doesn't directly treat it. When you laugh, the body releases endorphins, chemicals that can improve mood and reduce pain. These activities can also divert attention from negative thoughts that may color depressive experiences.

However, it is important to remember that depression is a serious and complex condition that requires professional attention. While laughter can be part of a stress management strategy, it does not replace medical treatment or psychotherapy. Individuals experiencing depression should seek help from a health professional for an in-depth evaluation and appropriate treatment planning according to their needs.

My two moments of laughter occurred when I was shopping for photocopying supplies and stationery at a wholesale store to stock up on goods at my place of business.

The first moment occurred when two young men who worked at the grocery store were watching a video of a sexy woman. I asked them why they haven't gotten married yet? Even though both of them are already old enough. I continued that after marriage I could enjoy a romantic relationship without having to hide it.

Hearing my words, we laughed together because they couldn't understand what I said. The second moment occurred on another day but still in the same place. This time with the shop owner, on that day he was having difficulty because he lacked money to deposit with the distributor.

Knowing he was having a hard time, I tried to test him by saying that I didn't have the money to pay for all the things I bought today, in other words I was in debt. I saw that the shop owner was having more difficulty thinking about his deposit today. Not long after, I handed over some money to pay for all my purchases that day.

The grocery store owner and I laughed out loud because we managed to test it.

Excessive smiling can have any benefits/losses? Give your opinion.

Excessive smiling can have both benefits and drawbacks. From a positive perspective, smiling can create a positive atmosphere, raise enthusiasm, and make people feel welcome. However, excessive smiling can also look unnatural and reduce the authenticity of the communication.

Smiling too often for no reason can create emotional dishonesty, making it difficult for people to read true feelings. Therefore, it is best to smile according to the context to maintain the authenticity of interpersonal communication without harming social relationships.
