The Ink well Newsletter - Breaking news - Hive, Steem and What it all Means

Have you seen that steemit.com is already censoring posts about Hive and other posts (including @blocktrades amazingly informative series about blockchain hardforks and DPoS governance)? And that the blacklist of posts that are blocked from appearing on steemit.com is actually piping in a list from an external source in China so they don't even have to update the source code on GITHUB to censor more posts? So much for a censorship resistant blockchain, which is one of if not THE selling point for a writer publishing to the Steem blockchain. I get where you are coming from, but to be honest, I have to say I think you and anyone who is going to continue to be active on steemit.com / old Steem blockchain is doing a disservice to everything that the Steem community has stood for. I surely hope you, @ocd, and @curie reconsider any activities on the old chain. Take a stand for something which is worth taking a stand for. Don't be a tool for censorship.

Don't expatriate to the Hive, but stick with Steemit?
"for those people who are here to write only and aren't interested, or even aware of steem governance issues" - who dodge the techy-y, political stuff - thank God for Carl and Raj
