Hello!

First a big shout out to the @knopka145 for organising this contest. I am sure like me there have been many who have taken up home gardening during the pandemic while all of us were at home. During the part year or so we have also attempted to grow many plants at home in our balcony garden. One of the many plants that we have is a plant called Lantennas.

Lantanas are the perfect plants for our balcony garden. They are very easy to grow and relatively low maintenance. They come in a variety of colours as well. These colourful lantanas are fuss free and so so pretty. The one's that we have growing our in shades of red, yellow and orange. Lantanas are very similar to another common balcony plant – Verbana.

Lantanas with their different colours also attract butterflies and bees. This is always good as bees and butterflies help in pollination. This is beneficial for the other plants you have as well. These plants love warm weather and a bright and sunny spot to grow and flower more. They need regular dead heading and pruning once and regular watering.

They can stay without water once the plant becomes big and once a week a thorough drench is enough for them to sustain and flower beautifully. Little fertilizing every 15 days and these are hassle free plants for your space.

We've also tried to document our balcony garden's journey on our blog as well. Where we have covered all our plants in detail. I hope you've enjoyed reading about these plants that we our growing for the past year or so.
