Hello steemians friends ..
How are you today??
May we always be in the Protection of God Almighty.
If we talk about favorite plants, then of course everyone has their own choice, some like it because of the shape of the stem, some fall in love with the structure of the leaves, and some are addicted to the taste of the fruit it produces, it all depends on their respective tastes. For me the most favorite plant is the Coconut Tree, why is that? Because the coconut tree is a versatile tree with so many benefits.
The coconut tree has the scientific name Cocos nucifera. This tree can be found in almost all places, especially in the Aceh region, Indonesia. Coconut trees have a single trunk that is tall and unbranched. The leaves are fan-shaped and parallel. While the fruit is a round or circular base with a multi-layered structure. In one coconut can usually produce dozens of coconuts. Initially, this coconut fruit is in the form of a small form called "Boh Leuping" in Acehnese local language, only after a few weeks later it becomes a young coconut that can be enjoyed by water and flesh. There are those who drink it just like that, there are also those who enjoy it in a blender, of course, has its own charm and is equally delicious.
Besides being able to be enjoyed when it is still a young coconut, coconut is also very useful when it is old or dry, it can be used as coconut milk by measuring it using a manual measuring device or now there is also a measuring machine. Coconut milk is one of the components in cooking, many dishes use coconut milk, such as cooking curry soup, lodeh vegetables, ingredients for making srikaya jam, cendol preparations, and others. Coconut can also be processed into oil, namely by rotting it, then measuring it, then drying it in the sun, later there will be a process of squeezing the coconut which will release the oil, so the dregs can be processed into patarana.
Not only the fruit, coconut leaves can also be used for making broom sticks. While the dry coir can be used as a tool for burning in livestock sheds to repel mosquitoes. Then during this pandemic, this coconut husk can also be transformed into a beautiful flower pot.
There are so many benefits that can be taken from the coconut tree. So that this coconut tree can be called a tree of a thousand benefits. Hopefully this can be additional information for the steemians and useful for all of us.
Sincerely, @paknajat
