Introduction

After a whole lot of research to know how to handle they rabbits am using for my final year projects, I found out a whole lot of facts that I believe we all need to know about these amazing creature called a rabbit. Please follow me as we journey towards exploring these facts.

Do You Know that Rabbits Sleep With Their Eyes Open

Its no longer fertile that rabbit is prey to many predators and that include human beings, because of that, rabbit is most careful and always sleep with their eyes wide open. A little movement of wind can awaken a rabbit from slumber. Since they are prey to many predators, they always use the advantage of the speed they possess whenever the need arises. Rabbit can run very fast most especially in the dark.

Manure from Rabbit are most effective

Do you know that manure gotten from rabbits has a very high content of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium? It has a higher proportion of nutrients compared to the manure gotten from poultry and those gotten from cattle. So in essence, one of the most efficient natural manure on this planet earth is the manure gotten from rabbits.

Rabbit Teeth Never Stop Growing

Unlike other animals, rabbit teeth never stop growing. This is because since the food eaten by these rabbits are those that can wear down teeth, they were made in such a way that their teeth will not stop growing so that they can meet up with their day-to-day eating activities.

Young Rabbits Are Called Kittens

Just like the cat, young rabbits are also called kittens. Now many other people call it bunny but expertise calls it kittens. These may sound strange owning to the fact that cats are one of the predators of the rabbit.

Rabbits Have Their Own Anger Language

Just like every other pet, the rabbit also has its anger language. Rabbits show their anger using their ear position, once they change their ear position either by turning it backward or press it low over their back, it shows how angry they are. More also, but in the direct inverse of cat behavior, a rabbit’s tail pointed up or out indicates anger, while a tail tucked down indicates peacefulness.

Conclusion

There is a whole lot to discuss rabbits but I will be taking it gradually as I have been able to explore a whole lot from these amazing creatures. I am believing that at the end of all what am going to deliver about this wonderful creature, we all will look for a way to have these pets in our respective homes.
