Hello everyone, it's nice being with you all in Steem-BRU community.
Groundnuts are plants that very rich in vitamins. They contain body building agents and supplies the body with natural oil.
Some Importance of eating the nut from a groundnut includes:
- rich in protein
- contains fibre
- good amounts of vitamins and minerals
- peanuts has body antioxidants
- etc....
One interesting thing about the plant is that at night, the plant leaves folds together and the leaves claps it's hands while during the day, it spreads them open wide.
It has a small yellow flower when it starts producing peanuts.
This groundnut plant was given to me by a friend in school when she was doing planting of seeds in Agricultural practical. I transplanted it from a small container to my small garden and spaced it from the others to monitor it closely.
