Before moving on to facts, numbers, strategies and data, we want to set you in a positive mood, make you relaxed, and offer to listen to one thematic song...

Earlier we used to call the purpose of Steem-BRU (BY-RU-UA) community:
📎 to gather the Steemians from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine around it and build an online society.

Later we've added:
📎 and to gather any Belarusian, Russian, Ukrainian Steemians around the world (if they speak our community languages), to support them, make them feel like "home".

But now we understand: yeah, those are the main purposes but not the only.

While Ukrainian and Belarusian languages are not very common, Russian has nearly 300 mln speakers worldwide, and it's the most geographically widespread language of Eurasia. Large numbers of Russian speakers are residents of other countries, such as Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova, Israel, Mongolia, Kazakhstan.

That's why the second, a bit smaller purpose of Steem-BRU community is:
📎 to host, integrate, and adapt Russian speaking Steemians from any countries — until their own country (or other) community appears on the platform.

We are pleased to note that similar story has happened to milakz from Kazakhstan. Now, she is successful founder of Steem Skillshare community, SteemMart owner, and active contributor. But would Mila have stayed on the platform if she hadn't found our Russian speaking community which helped her to learn how steemit.com works?

Another example is vlad26 from Moldova. There are almost no participants from his home country on the platform, so he has joined us, and even became MOD of Steem-BRU (BY-RU-UA).

Our community is unique in its purpose. There are no other communities covering the same subject or area as ours. People join our community to have friendly support and social connections with Steemians that speak their languages or live in the neighbourhood.

In addition, there are many contests in Steem-BRU community, which helps to create quality content on Steemit. Thanks to that we also have a lot of people from Asia and Latin America in our community (as guests and contests participants).

Our logo — an umbrella — symbolize coziness, help to each other, and even kinda patronage. The authors join our community because we are friendly, out of politics, and tolerant.

• @antorv, @filinpaul, @knopka145, and @olesia have the keys from @steem-bru (community curation account) and @hive-171319 (community owner account).

• The community also has volunteers who run the contests (to make Steem-BRU a place of having fun and creating a lot of content): @strecoza, @notannov, @nesmeliy, @sergeyk (new contest organizer), @nastena09 (new contest organizer).

• Team members are being rewarded as everyone else: by upvotes of @steem-bru account (as all of them are delegators), sometimes by upvotes of @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator06, sometimes by @booming accounts — for their personal posts. All community funds and payouts are headed only for increasing the Steem Power of @steem-bru (our community curation account).

All the posts rewards are used for powering up — we don’t pay to delegators or members of the community team.

We have the Rules of use @steem-bru account. And it is strictly forbidden to move assets out of account.

Current Voting CSI score for @steem-bru account: 11.4 (1.31 % self, 106 upvotes, 52 accounts, last 7d). Self voting happened by mistake and not regular at all.

Nearly 106 posts receive a vote from the community curation account each week. There’s no proportion because we vote only for delegators. Each delegator receives a vote once per 2 or 3 days.

To avoid plagiarism, we've changed the rules for the delegators: @steem-bru votes for the posts that contain stolen texts or photos no more.

We encourage #steemexclusive posts in your community.

Admins and Moderators check posts for plagiarism all the time they have a suspicion. @endingplagiarism team also has reviews in the community. We're glad to tell in September we had no plagiarism issues.

All of contests organizers has responsibilities to ensure all contests posts are plagiarism free.

Thanks to @alexmove's work and automatic rating, the members of our community are interested in commenting: because they receive nice bonuses for that.

But even without ratings Steem-BRU (BY-RU-UA) has built its own strong community where everyone is interested in each other's life, so he / she reads, comments, and waits to be read and commented.

All of contest organizers has responsibilities to comment every contest post.

Plans

At one business forum the speaker said the opportune phrase: "If you are a startup and do not want to fail, at first think only about growth. Do not even think about values, reputation or other minor things. Growth, growth and growth again. And later everything else".

We do not skip everything else mentioned above. But really: growth is a king. That is why...

📌If we get full package support from @steemcurator01, we'll post daily not less that 2 posts. Understanding that's impossible for Admins to write as many updates, we asked all community to help. So, we've created a content plan of useful publications for October, and everyone can join to help with the account's growth.

Content plan

📌We plan to increase the share of a start delegation for @steem-bru delegators. Again. Appr. in mid-October we plan to raise the issue of voting for the new rules of curation from @steem-bru account. Because with the fastly growing strength, soon we will give some delegates much more than they give us. And we want everything to be fair.

📌From October, 2021 we'll use @steemcurator06 account to support only:
— delegators of @steem-bru account;
— newcomers.
Everybody else, who's on the platform more than 6 month and hasn't delegated even minimal amount of Steem Power to our community curation account, won't reveice votes from @steemcurator06.

Promotion outside the platform is one of the most complicated tasks. But we implement it step by step.

📌 In September, we focused on posting articles about our community on various resources and social media. In October we gonna continue this strategy.
