Here Again - Münchhausen (original song)

I’d like to support this new community to share original songs and also listen to your music so I want to thank to @donatello for this invitation and I hope more people join.

I have an original music project called Münchhausen it’s like an alter ego. This is an indie rock/post punk in which I try to evoke the different ages in this particular genres (including Newwave).

In 2019, I released my first EP called "Undisclosed Words" that contains three songs: "Colourful Eyes" "The Script" and "Fragile Heart".

In 2020, "Here Again" was born. This track blends, with natural ease, more than 2 decades of introspective, wistful and highly melodic indie underground music, spanning from 80s depressive gloominess to reverb-drenched 90s atmospherics along with 2000s dreamy New York jangliness and a sprinkle of contemporary Russian shady grayness, to deliver shimmering, dreamy synth-infused guitar pop jams with a post-punk edge.

This song is written in G#major, and has a fast tempo (174bpm) includes an energetic instrumentation, starting with a very melodic riff and guitar tone using chorus, reverb and delay effects. At the same time, a LinnDrum with a repetitive but upbeat pattern makes the song. My voice is a little bit more delicate than my previous songs, because I wanted to make a nostalgic but uplifting song.

The lyrics tell us a short story about a man who spend some days and nights with someone who loves, and it’s not the first time they went to that place. Just as the chorus says:

"Here again in this lonely place, I’ll stay by your side.
