First of all let me thank our dear friend @donatello for starting this awesome initiative – The Original music group aimed at musicians who would like to share their original music.

This is a song from my 2019 album The Stained. It tells the story of Stan, a rock musician who got addicted to drugs, ruined his life but was saved " by love" as the lyrics go...
Stan is a fictional character but I knew a few real ones who led similar lifestyles and some of them aren't among the living now.
Don't do drugs, don't waste your precious lives, dear friends. God bless

He was the main man the singer in a rock band
He had a girl named Sue she was the one
The inspiration for every song he wrote

Stan got addicted to cocaine
Sue left soon and that was the end
of the rock band

Angels sing
Feel the sting
Bleeding strings

Stan sold his fancy car
Right to the devil who just another fake star
No more money left for cocaine
Stan found God and prayed in vain

God lost Stan years ago
Like a dirty stain he was washed n gone
Now all alone in a world of pain
Stan started playing his songs again
Man is alone in the world
he said
Man is alone in the world
Without a girl

Sue came back like a heart attack
She was the only one who wanted Stan back
Stan got on her knees again
Praying to the only one who had the strength
to bear the pain
And he was saved by Love
She prayed for him
And he was saved
