Plagiarism is the process of using someone else's work on my own, this is nothing new but serious because technology has exposed many examples of stealing. There are many types of plagiarism, although no level of plagiarism accepted and determining whether the plagiarism is intentional or unintentional. Any form of plagiarism is a violation of academic integrity. That is why knowledge about theft is a key part of learning in any society.

Plagiarism is a serious crime in Steemit because Steemit is a platform where its users can post various content of their choice. And their educational quality also increases. They are expected to use their knowledge and create the original content they are posting where someone creates posts.

Contains content from other people's work, it is recommended that the person be given a reference or source of that content. It is important to know all types of theft.

Types of plagiarism

  • In complete plagiarism, a writer copies the whole paper with words. It is more common in educational settings than online writing and can be prevented by checking for plagiarism.
Here the writer describes someone else's writing in his own words without incorporating his own idea in such a way that the original idea remains the same. This type of piracy is common among students and online writers.

  • This happens when an author forgets to cite sources, or misquotes sources, or explains a source using the same words without warning. I should always remember to cite sources and take careful note while doing research.
Now, how can theft be prevented? Theft can be avoided:

  • I take careful note of the sources from which I quote and quote them correctly.

  • Enter the price directly in the quotation marks.

  • I'm checking for plagiarism before posting my content.

  • I copy any piece of information from someone's work, word for word, I should try to put it in quotation marks and refer to the source from which the information is taken.

For example

  • A good knowledge of market structure is one of the keys to being a successful trader.

  • An important skill you need as a trader is the ability to read the structure of the market.

  • The above example shows the first statement as the original content. While the second in the quotation numbers indicates that it was copied from someone else's statement, one source after that, I promised to abide by the rules.
Thank you for reading. Stay blessed.
