Hello Steemians,

You all can agree with me there's one particular thing we all spend so much time doing without realizing we are actually spending so much time.
I don't want to call it obsession but there's something we all love doing and just can't find ourselves stopping anytime soon.

Others love to dance and it's like their energy never runs down for it, others like to sing, some are really good at crafting, others also are champions when it comes to PES or FIFA, and can spend the whole day behind game pads, certain people also like diy.
The list goes on and on and mine is crocheting.

Crocheting is something I love to do a lot at my free time.The pattern involved helps release stress and has other benefits too.

Depression relief is by far the most reported and studied benefit of crochet and knitting. The repetition of the crafts has been shown to release serotonin, a natural anti-depressant. CNN recently reported that “in one study of more than 3,500 knitters, published in The British Journal of Occupational Therapy, 81% of respondents with depression reported feeling happy after knitting. More than half reported feeling “very happy.”

Crocheting simply means making a pattern with crochet hook and yarn.
To be able to crochet,you sure need a crochet hook and yarn.
Both the hook and yarn comes in sizes and you must choose the right hook and yarn for the right crochet piece you would like to make.
The larger the hook,the larger the spaces in the crochet piece will be.
The larger the yarn,the bulkier the crochet piece.

Amongst these 5 stitches my favorite is the hdc because it's so easy to make.
