Hello amigos , It's me Abhisek . I hope everyone is doing fine . I have already posted achievement 1 and achievement 2 and after the verification of both the post . Today i am gonna post my third Achievement .

In short , this post is about original content writing and not stealing someone else's idea.

What is Plagiarism?
=> In simple words , Plagiarism means stealing or using someone else's content, idea, thoughts & expression as there own.
Plagiarism can be termed as crime in some countries like India , Poland consider plagiarism as a crime. People can face legal action against plagiarism.
It not only involved copying words but also copying images directly using someone idea's without mentioning the original creator of that thing.

What are the types of Plagiarism ?
=> Types of Plagiarism :-

•Self-Plagiarism : It means using our own work again to create something new or using some previously submitted work again.

•Mosaic plagiarism : It means combining phrases, idea and passages from different places to form a new text of our own . It also called Patchwork.

•Complete Plagiarism : As it written in the heading "complete" , it means publishing a pre published content or work as there own just by changing the original creator name.

•Direct plagiarism : It occurs while copying someone else's work without using quotation to refer that the work is copied from other sources.

•Accidental plagiarism : It happened mostly accidently . It occurs while someone post something without knowing that the same content or work is pre present there .It mostly happened when the source of the work is same .

How to avoid Plagiarism ?
=>Some common tips to avoid Plagiarism :
• The universal rule is to not copy someone works even if you copy do not forget to mention the original creator.

• Do not just rely on one source , use some different sources to utilise your idea .

• Develop your own style of writing .

• Use quotation to mark down the content of others.

• Or you can use plagiarism checkers to check quality of your work.

CITATION
=> Citation is a way to give proper credit to others work and avoiding plagiarism.

It comes in two form -

1. in-text-citation
2. full citation

•in-text-citation : This citation method is used in the line to mention the original author and the source from where the sentence is picked.

•full citation : It usually done in three parts . That is - firstly by mentioning the original author then in second part by mentioning information that distinguishes the content of the specific work being cited and in the last my mentioning the location or creation of the work.

CITATION EXAMPLE :-

Sunflowers are extremely well-known worldwide. Their bright yellow color is their defining characteristic and makes them very striking. Although they’re originally from North America, nowadays you can find them in numerous countries around the world.
