Good day to you wonderful people of steemit, am @allisonire by username it is a great thing for me to be on steemit and a member of newcomers community and am here with my achievement 2 as one of the requirements of the community.

I went through the post about "understanding your steemit wallet & powering up" now I can said boldly that I understand steps to power up steem on this wonderful platform.
Over to the task question and my answers

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Answer
Yes, I have retrieve all the keys required after I login with my master password, I login to steemwallet.com then downloaded all the available keys and save them offline.

Question 2
Do you know the each of those keys functions?
Answer
Yes, I fully know the functions of all of the keys.

1). The Master Key :- This can be used to recover all other keys

2). Posting Key:- steemit posting key perform the below functions.

1. used for day to day posting on steemit.
2. Edit our post and comment.
3. Used to upvote and downvote post and comment.
4. Resteeem other peoples post or comment.
5. Used to follow other steemit users we love to follow.
6. Used to join community of our choice
7. Used to mute account.

Restrictions to the posting key

1. It can only be used to perform social functions.
2. Posting key can't be used to in place of active or master keys.

Functions of the Active Key
My steemit active key can be used to perform the below functions.

1. Used for transfer of SBD and steem.
2. Used to power up and power down steempower.
3. Trade SBD to steem and vice versa
4. Used to vote for our favorite witness
5. Used for updating profile on steemit
6. Used to create a new user.

Restrictions of Active key
Below are the restrictions of our Active key.

1. It can not be used to in place of posting key
   It can not be used for perform the function of owner's key or Master Key.

Function of Owners Key

1. It can be used to reset owners key, posting key and active keys.

2. Owners Key is used to recover account. When hacked.

3. Is used to decline Voting right in third party website.
   **Restrictions of Owners Key **

4. It can't be used in place of posting key
   it can't be used in place of Master Key.

Functions of Memo Key
Memo key is used to perform the below functions on steemit.

1. Memo key is needed to send an encrypted message to another user
   Use to read an encrypted message from another user.

2. Memo key can not be used to perform the function of owners key, active key, posting key or Master key.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer
I have write it down inside my diary a and save it inside an iron box in case of fire and water, I also have a backup file in my Google drive with a secure password.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer
Yes. I do
To send steem or sbd, user have to login to steemwallet.com with our active key and follow the following steps.
Click on steem balance to show a drop down menu

Click on transfer as seen below

Fill the first box with reciever username and the second box with the amount to transfer. The third box is for memo then click next as seen below.

The last step is to confirm the details of the transaction and click on ok to complete the transaction.

Answer
Below are the steps to power up steem:
Click on steem Ballance as seen below.

Click on power up as seen below.

Enter the amount to power up and click on power up as seen below

Confirm the amount and click on ok to complete the transaction.
