Glad To Be Here: 1st Progress Post

I've been on Steemit for more than 2 years now, but to be honest at first I wasn't consistent at all, I was too frustrated by the too many rules, till I discovered that those rules are the ones which make this platform the one we all love, to prevent plagiarism, and all other violations.

I've joined many communities but the most significant ones are: Steem Nations, Beauty of Creativity and Free Writers. I've joined the communities I believe have people who I have things in common with me, people who love to share their days with the world, share thenbeautiful photos they took, and most importantly people who share their thoughts and ideas. I liked #beautyofcreativity the most because people there focus on sharing their best moments and their most beautiful pictures.

I've been writing about my personal beliefs, leadership principles, self-help and productivity tips, in other words I've been writing about everything that I believe has "applicable value", and I've been also sharing my best moments and photos with people, moments that I would love relive over and over.

I haven't made as many interactions with specific people but all I can say is that I interact with people who share genuine stories, and it's pretty much what I love about Steemit is that people aren't trying to fake their lives, instead they are sharing the goods and the bads. Someone I interacted with a lot and he even highlighted the importance of sharing this post with you is @forhad811 I love how he shares the simple things he does and the genuine moments, and I love the pictures he share from the countryside where life is much more peaceful.

My most successful post was this ONE and the reason why I believe it was successful is because I shared a genuine story, alongside with some beautiful photos from the Dahab, my favorite city in Egypt, and I shared more details about my upcoming plans.

What I've learned is; genuine stories have the greatest impact, because this platform is unlike any other, people here don't want to see just your wins but also your challenges and struggles. At first, I thought the platform is rigged and that people who get upvotes are just people who had in the past got the most upvotes, but it turns out that it doesn't work that way, it has to do with how genuine your stories are, and how deep the details are.

I plan to be more active on this platform, to share more of my genuine stories and writings, and to focus on what really can impact people's lives positively. I plan to make it an integral part of my day that helps me make the best out of my life and grow as a person to reach the best version possible of myself.

It was really an honor and a privilege to be here with you guys, and your stories have impacted my life positively in so many ways, I wish I'll continue to be part of this great platform that will soon have many more people, stories, and writings.
