Hope you all are doing well, and this post will find you in good health and elation. I am sharing this post to accomplish the task of achievement 2 in which I will be claiming about knowing the basic security on steemit and the use of this security.

Here I will answer all the questions asked about security keys.

Question 1:

Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer:

Surely, I have saved all my keys, by printing it, saving in pdf, taking screen shot and written in my notebook.

Question 2:

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer:

Yeah I know about the use of keys and their restrictions. I will elaborate further about the functionality of these keys below one by one.

Posting key:

Basically, the posting key is used for posting, voting, editing, reesteeming and for the porpose to comment on other posts. So for doing all these activities on steemit we have to use the posting key.

Active key:

This key is used for the porpose to transfer the funds, to power up the transactions also to power down. Its also used for the any editing in profile and avatar. For the conversion of steem dollars and for voting the witnesses this key is used. Its comparatively used for the sensitive tasks.

owner key:

Its the most powerful key that we can recover our other keys by using this key. Its usually stored or saved offline and helps to recover the compromised accounts.

Memo key:

This is key is used during the fund transfer to encode and decode the memos. specific signs are used to encrypt the memo.

Questions 3:

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer :

I have saved my security keys by every possible mean so I will find another way to recover my password if I will lose one saved data. This is the plan to keep my master password safe.

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer:

To transfer funds first we have to go in steemit wallet tehn in the first option named as steem we have to click on the triangular icon. After click that will show certain options.

From these options to transfer funds we click on the transfer. After that an interface is shown in which we have to write the name of account to which we are sending the amount. Putting all the information transfer options is pressed.

Question 5:

Do you know how to power up the steem?

Answer:

For powering up the same phenomenon is followed as to transfer the funds just by using the option of powering up instead of transfer.Applying active key is mandatory in both cases.
