Assalam-o-Aalaikum!
How are you all? I hope that my all Steemit members are well and doing a great job on Steemit with blessings of GOD.
Today I am going to my Achievement 3 because I completed my Achievement 2 and also verified by Steemit owners.
Agenda:
- This achievement is all about the Steemit ettiquete. And every one have to follow the rules and ettiquetes of Sttemit.
- This achievement is all about plagiarism that everyone should avoid from plagiarism and not copy other's contents.
Real Purpose:
The real purpose of this achievement is to understand about two things First is that we have to understand all the rules of Steemit. And also we have to follow for more progress. Rather, every human being should follow every day wherever he works, even in the community. Looking at the rules of Steemit, he should know how to work and what work on Steemit and what will happen if we do not fulfill the rules.
And then we have another thing, plagiarism. The meaning of plagiarism is known to almost everyone. If a person does anything from somewhere or presents something written by someone or anything of his own, then it is plagiarism. Rather than copying someone else or presenting his own work as his own, it is better for him to follow his own thinking. In any case, a person should have self-confidence, trust and confidence in the fact that if he writes something, at least it will not be wrong, or he will be convinced that he has written it himself.
But if a person has to copy from another place, he should not waste labor of that pertson, but he should take the thing from here by giving it to him under the oath of allegiance which he has picked up or copied. So that the hard work of the one who has been taken is not wasted. The advantage of doing so is that it will not be considered in the plagirarism
Types of Plagiarism:
Well, there are many types of plagiarism, but we will explain a few here.
1. Direct Plagiarism:
2.Paraphrasing without crediting:
it happens is that his work is taken without reference of anyone. There is also a difference between paraprasing and quoting. And it is presented on its own but it is not acknowledged whose copy it was. Nor is it mentioned where these ideas came from.
3.Mosaic Plagiarism:
In this type of plagiarism, it means plagiarise in another way, but the word used in this type changes it a little bit, but the meaning of the word used in it is the same. The result is that it still has the same structure as before, only a few words have been changed, but they mean the same thing.
4.Accidental plagiarism:
It is called accidental plagiarism because it is often used when no one intends it and it can happen when a person forgets to refer. It may be that in writing you choose to write it, but later when you write it, you either forget to cite it or make a mistake while citing it, because of which the citation is not correct.
5.Misattribution:
In this type of plagriasim it happens that the data of auther is used but after copying the data of this author it is not given the source but is given wrong source or may given another author's source.
How to Avoid plagiarism:
You do not have to provide source every piece of information contained in your paper. There is no need to refer to general information or information that everyone can understand and know. To avoid plagiarism, you need to learn to differentiate between your information, your ideas, your thinking, and your information that you have learned or obtained from somewhere.
Mehods for Avoiding Plagiarsim:
- Write from Scratch
- Use Quotation Mark
- Paraphrase and Summarize
- Providing Citation
- know when to Cite
- keep tabs on sources
I have read all the Steemit etiquettes and always try to follow all the rules. And I will also try to follow the rules of Community.
