Mothers Day at my place

I woke up very early in the morning as usual because thats how we are trained, right from childhood, you dare not wake up late on Sunday... I remember when we are kids, my mum will always come to switch off the TV and take the remote to her room every saturday evening to make sure we sleep early and wake up early on sunday to go to church... so i stood up, dragged myself to the bathroom where i brushed my teeth, came back and observed my morning prayers, i can't help but remember how my mumm will wake me and my siblings then early morning so we can pray as a family but now everything has chamged as we do wake up every day before her... I took my bathe, dressed up, ready for church, i went into her room to see if she is awake but she's fast asleep... I left and closed the door behind me and hooola!, i'm off to church.

On my way to church, i met a friend of mine who also came back home due to the Asuu strike and we exchanged greetings and on getting to church(st mary's anglican church, Okporo, Orlu in Imo state, Nigeria), they've started bible study and i joined in... Today was mothering so the monrning service was cancelled and it was now a combined service for both 7:00am service and 9:00am service... After the usual chuch procession which mothers handled.

The preaching came up and todays topic was: Mother's role in home building and the speaker talked about the roles of motherhood. When you caution and correct a child in Love... That chlid will see reasons with the parents but most fathers prefer the iron hand approach which rarely works. She went further to talk about how mothers duty in disciplining a child is very crucial.

After Church, we ate the fried rice and jellof rice mothers prepared for us and i went home feeling happy... When i reached home my mum prepared my favorite food(egusi soup and eba)... After church, i went to meet my secondary school classmate and friend Chidubem, we went out together had fun and he dropped me off at home

On getting home, i remembered about a platform that my twin brother @frankenstein54 told me about and i decided to write about my day. On my next post, i'll be makimg my introductory post as i'm hoping to meet many wonderful entrepreneurs like me who have the same view and mindset like me. Happy Sunday
