1-How to Keep Your Steemit Account Protected?

First of all when you join Steemit,they provide you with your Password and different Keys which help you to log in to use several important activities on Steemit,So to keep them save is very essential to work on Steemit Safely,It is better to keep these Keys and Password save in several locations like in your PDF File,Word File,in your Email box thru an email and by taking Sreenshots in your Cellphone..

2-Important Keys and their Functions:

The Steemit works on using a Master Password and different Keys which not only keeps your account Safe and Secure but also helps you work freely on Steemit without worrying that your account may get compromisedThe different Keys and their Functions are as follows..

1-Master Password
The Master Password is the most Important one here,It’s your account’s only Password and also helps you to have access to all other Keys,also this password can not be regained if lost so to protect it at any cost is very very essential.

2-Posting Key
Posting Key is used to log in to your Account and carry on different activities on Steemit like Posting in different Communities,Commenting on other’s Posts and Voting on them as well.

3-Active Key
This Key is very crucial because it helps to log in to your Personal Wallet in Steemit where you can use Power Up Option,Transfer/Transaction of Funds and Convertion of Steem Dollar into Currencies…

4-Memo key
This key is used to chat privately and is also used to Encypt and Decrypt messages sent and received through your account..

5-Private Key
This key is used for transferring of balance so its protection is very much needed.

Steemit Wallet and Powering Up Process:

Step 1:
Firstly select Wallet Option on your Steemit Account/Profile..

Step 2:
Then click on Steem Option below Wallet,where you have to choose Tranfer Option in the List…

Step 3:
Tranfer it to the Account

Step 4:
Then on the same List select Power Up Option..

Step 5:
Convert to Steem Power...
