Mahela Jayawardhana is a best batsman & also a successful captain in Sri Lanka cricket team in years of 1997 to 2015. He sored his highest test score is 374 against to South Africa. And he has a highest partnership with Kumar Sangakkara for 3rd wicket(624 Runs). because of best performances in 2006, International cricket council (ICC) named he is the best captain in the world 2006.
