What is Plagiarism

Plagiarism is taking someone else's idea and placing it as your own.
Plagiarism is committed when I take a copy of the original content of the creator and I do not refer to it, that is an idea theft, photographic, artistic, musical material, among others, can be plagiarized.

This is something very dangerous, since it should be taken into account by all #Steemit users , since I entered the platform I have always tried to give my best, my content is exclusive because for me it is horrible to copy something from someone , some case given that I use the idea of ​​another person as some image or a text I must copy the source.

Disadvantages of Plagiarized content

Plagiarism is a very bad habit and considered to be a very bad thing in the Steemit platform

• Plagiarism is also a bad act in terms of personal honor. Community members and the Steemit team look at plagiarism with a black eye.

• Plagiarism content is discouraged in such a way that if plagiarism is detected the post will be disapproved(downvote) and considered immoral.

• The plagiarized content can't supported in any communities.

How can you avoid plagiarism?

• Spin Strategy - when copying words always have the creativity in you to add or change a few things so that it will look and sound different.

Example:
Original: I am faster than James when we race.
You: When we race I am quicker than James.

In the Example above you can see how both of those sentences mean the same thing but look different.

• Credicts: when copying words or ideas from some body you must give them credit like mentioning their names like this in your post @theowneraccount and highlighting the The owner as the original source of your idea.

• Citation:It is the way you tell your readers that certain material in your work is from another source.
