Happy New month Steemians, it's another beautiful day filled with good events and God's blessings.
So yesterday was a wonderful day. I woke up with a smile and was grateful to God for the grace to see a new day, being the last day of the month of June. I said my prayers and then carried out my daily hygiene practice and I prepared myself and left very early for church.
The church service was awesome, and the pastor preached on the topic heaven (heaven part 2) and still encouraged the children of God to focus on putting into practice God's word, which will also enable them to be partakers of heaven at last.
After the church was dismissed, the choir group which I happen to be part of, were getting ready to attend a program tagged "Festival of praise". We had to change from our choir dress to Yoruba attire.
We all got dressed and were convened to the auditorium where the program would be conducted. We arrived at the venue looking all stunning.
The program was all about praising God through singing, dancing and dressing in different cultures attire. we had other tribes like the Ibibio, Tiv, igala, hausa, igbos, Annang, Benin and the Oro nation etc.
When we arrived at the church auditorium, we became the center of attraction at the church because we were dressed in yoruba attire and spiced it up with beautiful jewellery. This made many people look at us with great admiration.
Our choir happened to sing to God in a yoruba dialect, in which we also display our dance steps in a locomotive movement in response to the song we sang,
At the auditorium, each parish was told to partake in a march pass which my choir did excellently beautiful, the video of our march pass was superb.
In the next section of the program, different parishes and zones rendered their praises to God. It was a great moment in the presence of God.
I danced, danced and danced, I was beautifully dressed in yoruba attire, and not only was I beautifully dressed, I dressed and danced in full glory in response to the rhythm and the beating of the talking drum.
As the event was going on, I looked around the auditorium, I admired the beautiful hands of God who created us and made all things bright and beautiful.
