Hello to all my colleagues newcomers in this community. I hope we’re all having an amazing time here. I welcome you all to my achievement 3 task which is all about plagiarism. But before I begin, let’s define plagiarism.

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition.

Plagiarism happens when a writer portrays someone else's work as their own, whether they are aware of it or not. Infringing on someone else's intellectual property rights is plagiarism.

Plagiarism Types

  1. Copy and paste plagiarism occurs when you take text from a source, paste it into your own document without citing it, and then turn around and submit the result.
  2. When quotations are omitted, sources are misquoted, or you choose not to cite the source, it is considered accidental plagiarism.
  3. To modify someone else's writing and then present it as your own is considered plagiarism.
  4. Reusing previously submitted work in a new setting even though it is your own work constitutes self-plagiarism. To submit something even if readers might believe it is brand-new is unethical, nevertheless.

Ways to Avoid Plagiarism

  1. Recognize plagiarism.
  2. Always be innovative or introduce fresh perspectives to your work.
  3. Be careful when paraphrasing to avoid repeating information.
  4. Always use the plagiarism detector after you've finished to prevent plagiarism.
  5. Document the sources you used to conduct your research.
  6. Indicate the information, text, or image's source by citing it.

Avoiding this bad habit, which in all ways compromises the originality of our publications, is crucial. It's also crucial for us to significantly contribute to our own interest in reading and learning, which will help us interact with ourselves more effectively. We will each judge the events taking on around us differently than other people.

Since the Steemit platform is unique, each member of this elite community must cultivate their creativity while upholding the principles of respect and sincerity.

In a similar vein, I must emphasize that fulfilling this task allowed me to enjoy Steemit's beginnings, which were unique from the start, without filming any other content.
