MY INTRODUCTION.ACHIEVEMENT1, To Introduce myself @steemit, mentorship @mesola

     Hi my name is Blessing Ukoh, I live in Nigeria currently.

I am 48 years old.
I am an ads consultant,I studied English and literary studies and also communication science majoring in Advertising.

         I have authored several books, and I also have a passion for women advocacy which I do through my NGO, African Women Empowerment Forum.

I have traveled to several African countries, Egypt, Israel, Palestine.
I lived in South Africa for twelve years,it was a rewarding time for me.
It was in South Africa,I was given a lot of opportunities to discover myself.
I was a motivational speaker for a lot of organizations.

        The one I enjoyed most was the Bright side project of UNISA, here I was a life coach to teenage grade 12 students.

Delivering speeches on the importance of sexual abstinence for Young adults
It was a fulfilling time for me as some kids from the project signed up for personal mentorship.

        I returned back to Nigeria only to meet a ailing economy.settling in wasn't easy. The pressure pushed me to learn several skills, this paid off in the end.

I joggled so many opportunities to make ends meet.
So many people in my country use the ailing economy as an excuse to go into crime.
Crime rate has increased.
But I am of the opinion that pressure can squeeze out the best in you.
Pressure made me discover so many things about myself.
Been born in Port Harcourt,a fast growing City, and been raised in the middle class family,I knew nothing about farming.
I thought farming was for poor people.
As Nigeria Hits almost 40% inflation, prices of food stuff Hits the roof.
My income could no longer sustain us,
I started planting vegetables in my yard,
I realized that I actually love gardening,
I love to see nature's sprouts,
Every Morning, immediately am done with my morning devotion, I will rush out to see my garden.
It gives me immense Joy to see my little effort been so blessed by nature.
And not just that I get to eat organic food.

      My effort with gardening inspired me to start a small coop in my yard.

I sell stuff off my chickens and I eat some.
Though my children complain of the smell from the chicken poo.

     All the same life has been engaging since my return.I love the challenges, and the adventure.
