WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism can be defined as the use of one’s work or idea representing it as yours. This is illegal and also another form of stealing. It can also be seen as intellectual fraud. Copying someone’s work without acknowledging or giving credit to where credit is due is a really cruel act. Feeding off someone’s hard work. Learning to give credit to who credit is due is the best decision to take and I encourage everyone to always do the right thing.

Types of plagiarism
Direct plagiarism: this has to do with lifting one’s work word for word and pasting it in your work neglecting citation or making reference to the original creator/owner of the work.
MOSAIC PLAGIARISM: This involves the creation of a write up which contains several parts or points which belong to several people. This act is referred to as mosaic plagiarism. Tpo me this should be like the most common plagiarism
SELF PLAGIARISM: this can also be seen as plagiarizing yourself. This has to do with reusing your old work or write up for new reasons.Bringing up phrases and sentences from your old work without the receiver’s permission.

Plagiarism isn’t nice so I encourage everyone to give credit to whom and where credit is due.
How to Cite a source
It is not enough to note that “text source is encyclopedia” the link to the specific page is required. In case of numerous citation, adding the source after each separate cited work is required.
All copied sentence should be in quotes “” or highlighted using the > markup
EXAMPLE

Eating a diet high in fruits and vegetables can reduce a person’s risk of developing heart disease, cancer, inflammation, and diabetes. Citrus fruits and berries may be especially powerful for preventing disease. source
