ACHIEVEMENT 2: Basic security on steemit, mentorship by @crytokannon

Hello steemians...my name is @bestbassey,
I have already made my introduction post and as we all know this post is about my knowledge of steemit private keys... my second achievement post.

There are different keys in steemit.

HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?

Yes, they are all retrieve and securely stored in my closet. Should there be any problem it won't affect me

DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?

Very well, i understand that every keys has a different purpose, for example that I can't perform a wallet transition without my active key or I can't log in without my posting key

POSTING KEY
I call it the log in password.. It is mostly used to perform social action. Like to post a blog, comment on any blog, up vote and down vote any post.

ACTIVE KEY
This key is used to perform wallet transactions. For example this key is used to transfer steem, and it's also use for power ups and power down..

OWNER KEY
This is one of the most important keys. This key is use to reset your posting and active key and master password. And you can also recover your account anytime.

MEMO KEY
This key is used to send encrypted message while making a transaction.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?

I have securely stored my master key offline. If anything goes wrong. I can retrieve that anytime and can recover my account or change my other keys..

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?

Yes, I know how to transfer my steem token to another steemit account. The steps are as follows
1.firstly, is to click on the avatar,a drop down menu list appears then I can select wallet.

1. Is to click the down arrow where item is displayed
2. In the drop-down menu i can only click on transfer
3. Then I can type in the username of the person i want to send to, the amount and memo
   1.I will type in my password to authenticate the transaction
   Then I check on history to confirm my transaction

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?

Yes, I know how to power up my steem using active key.. the transaction is also done through clicking the wallet then drop down list appears, then I click on market, next is to buy steem, then enter the amount of steem dollars i want to exchange for steem. Once entered, I can click "buy steem" then a notification will pop up showing ordered placed
