Achievement 2: Basic security on steemit by @boemem

Hello newcomers community once again. Im going to carry out my achievement 2 task. The achievement 2 has to do with the basic knowledge of the steemit keys and the understanding of the steemit wallet.

HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS?

Well i made retrieval of my steemit keys my first obligation. Considering the importance of the keys i have also stored it in a secured location.

KEYS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS :

POSTING KEY:
The first key which is the first key that allows a user to post, comment, edit, vote, follow or mute other accounts. It also allows users to login to steemit.

ACTIVE KEY:
Transferring funds, power up/down transaction, converting steem dollars, voting for witness, updating profile details and avatar and placing market order.

OWNER KEY:
Used to change any key of an account including the owner key itself and also used to recover a compromised account.

MEMO KEY:
Used in encrypting , decrypting memos when transfering funds. Inorder to encrypt a memo use the # sign.

MASTER KEY:
Used to generate all keys and itself.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?

Its very simple. Ill keep the password very safe far from the knowledge of a third party. Mostly a cloud server would be appropriate.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?

Simply click on your user icon and click on wallet. Login if neccessary, ull see "STEEM" and a drop down button by the side, clicking on it ull see the transfer button, click on it and carry out the transaction 🤗.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?

Powering up of steem still follows the same format as the later. But in its case, youll see power up button, ull click and do the transactions as u wish, with the amount of steem you want to power up.
