Retrieving my keys on steemit.
Yes I have retrieved my keys. I have written the keys in my dairy and also in best book. I have also kept the keys in iCloud. I have kept it offline to avoid losing it in case my phone crashes down or I lose the phone.
Also kept a copy in my iCloud because my Apple ID is has been well mastered by me and can be gotten even I lose my phone.
My key functions and restrictions
THE POSTING KEY: The posting keyas as the name says permits the accounts to post, edit, vote, resteem, follow, and other accounts. It is the most common key as it helps carry out daily operations on steem.
This key is limited in that it exists to restrict the damage that compromised account key can cause to other accounts.
THE ACTIVE KEY: is used for very sensitive tasks such include powering up or power down transactions, transfering funds, converting SBD, updating profile details and can also be used in placing market orders.
THE OWNER KEY : this key is probably dormant and is used just when necessary. It is the most powerful key as it can change any key of an account including the owner key. Usually advised to be stored offline and used for account recovery.
THE MEMO KEY: It is used for encryption and decryption of memos when transferring funds. During encryption we use the memo sign for pound/# sign before it.
How my master password will be kept
I will keep it very well and offline in my dairy and also dublicate it to avoid it losing it
##How to transfer steem token to another steem user account.
Yes I can do it. Firstly you copy your private active key and then login to your wallet.
Ones it is open you see 0.01 steem which you click on drawdown.
Ones you have clicked on it. You will select transfer then forward the funds to any account of your choice.
Ones the transfer is done, what was previously 0.01 steem becomes 0.00 steem indicating that the transfer is successful.
##Powering up steem
This enables me me to able post, vote and comment on steemit. Ones powered up you take atleast a month before you can power dow ln.
It is done by logging into your wallet still using your private active key and then choosing powerup as shown below.
Since my account is 0.00 it is impossible for me to powerup.
