Hello Steemians,
This achievement task requires that we study the steemscan tool. This study will cover its features, how it works, and how to use it. The steemscan tool is a enables users to exchange steemit tokens for fiat. This also help in conducting cryptocurrency exchange on the STEEM blockchain. STEEM can be exchange for other cryptocurrencies such as USDT, BTC, and TRX. I haven't had a personal experience with this tool because I haven't transacted any withdrawals before but, I hope to learn as we explore this tool.

Latest Prices and Volumes

As of October 7, 2021 the price of STEEM on the cryptocurrency exchange market is US$ 0.63. This is an improvement compared to the price of STEEM about two weeks ago which stood at US$ 0.47. The current price of STEEM means that each STEEM in your wallet will trade for 0.63 American Dollar. The volume of STEEM in the cryptocurrency market as of the aforementioned date is US$ 2, 945.58. This approximates the value of the total STEEM present in the cryptocurrency market. This value changes as the quantity of STEEM changes.

Latest Transactions

The Latest Transactions tab show the latest transactions happening on the STEEM blockchain. It shows transfer, voting and commenting activities and many others on the STEEM blockchain.

This displays the block transaction ID, Time of transaction, and the user information of users involved the block transaction.

Witnesses

This section contains information such as Total Witnesses, Total mined(STEEM), Last block height, Transaction Count, and Current Witness. Below this tab contains information about the various withnesses.

Follow theses steps to vote a witness:

• Identify the witness from the list of witnesses and click on vote.
• Click on Continue.
• Enter Steem username and Steem private posting key.
• Finally, click on Get started.

Decentralized Applications are a series of apps on the built various blockchains to support STEEM transactions and activities. The DApps tab contains a brief description of all the listed apps, website and the name of the publisher. Statistics of their users and transactions will be displayed at some other time.

Quick convert

Quick convert convers STEEM to other cryptocurrencies such as BTC, USDT, and TRX. The quick convert queries users on the amount of STEEM to convert to either three of the currencies stated above. For every amount of STEEM entered, a fee is charge for the service rendered. The fee charged for converting a given amount of STEEM to TRX is smaller than the fee charge for converting the same amount of STEEM to any of the other cryptocurrencies. It is therefore profitable to covert STEEM to TRX. For this presentation we would demonstrate using STEEM to TRX conversion.

Follow these step to convert STEEM to other cryptocurrencies:

• On the Menu, select Quick convert
• Enter the amount of STEEM to be converted and make sure TRX is the selected cryptocurrency to be converted to.
• Enter the withdrawal address. This is the address to which the converted cryptocurrency will be sent.
• Click on Create Order.
• Enter the user active key to confirm transaction.

For a converting 20 STEEM, a fee of about 1.20400012 TRX is charged.

The search feature is used to locate certain items such as block, transaction, witness, and many others.
