I have read the article by @kiwiscanfly on Understanding your steemit wallet and here is what I learnt.
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
All my keys are safe and accessable by me.
Do you know each of these key functions?
- Memo key is for encryption of message
- Posting key for posting, making of comment, upvote and resteem
- Active key for transfer of steem, market conversation and to power up steem.
- Owner key is for account recovery
- Tron key for transfer and receiving of Tron
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Master Password is a key used to get all the other keys which includes the Owner Key, active key, posting key and the rest. A master password is expected to be used only when you want to recover your account.
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Go to wallet, click on steem and press transfer. Fill in the details of the transfer like the username and the amount of steem. Then authorize the transfer.
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Go to wallet, click on steem and press power up. Fill in the amount of steem you want to power up and then confirm.
