Achievement 1: Introducing myself on Steemit

Hello Steemians, Greetings from India. Myself Chandana and I am from Guwahati, the capital city of Assam, a state in the northeast of India.

I am 19 y.o. and I'm a student. Recently I completed my 12th in Arts stream and now I am planning to do my Under graduation over the next few years.

Tbh I am not an expert, technology-wise, so I limit my involvement to my phone and related accessories only. I came to know about Steemit.com from my brother @brahmaputra who has been active on this platform for the last 5 months now. He's always urging me to create an account on Steemit and start blogging. I have heard that Steemit is a social media platform that actually rewards users for creating original content.

Now there's some other terms associated with Steemit, like, 'crypto', 'decentralised' and 'Blockchain'. I don't have any idea on what they mean and I don't want to research on them right now 😆. I just want to write my stuff, things that are of my genre and interests.

I am a movie buff (using the word 'buff' cuz it sounds cool), a logophile, I keep my own diary where I pen my thoughts into words from time to time. I am a melophile as well, and love to do karaoke singing 😅 for songs of my interest.

I am not much of a sports enthusiast but I been habituated to following Indian cricket team and the Premier League since my school days due to my brother's interest in the same.

I just want to try and be regular in updating my blog on Steemit. I feel as a student of Arts, this will inculcate and fine tune my writing and communication skills at the same time.

I would like to thank @cryptokannon for her easy to understand manual for Newcomers which is a real asset for every newcomer starting out fresh on Steemit.

I hope I can connect with Steemians from my country and also around the world. Hoping for your support and wish me luck in this journey.
