Due to the high rate at which the world is evolving when it comes to technology, this also increase rapidly the rate of internet fraud or scam as we popular call it these days.

The block chain system which is the raveling technology on point now has devised a means at which we can cub internet scams and hence the development of different security measures by the block chain developers.

In this section, I will be talking on the basic securities in steemit. There are four keys in steemit, all these keys are not equal as some are more….I will not say important because all of them are but we should be self-conscious of some more than some.

BELOW ARE THE DIFFERENT KEYS WE HAVE IN STEEMIT IN A DECENDING ORDER

• The posting key
• The Active key
• The owner key
• The master password.

The posting key

This is d least concerned key is a private key designed by the community developers, this key allows users to make a post, make comments on peoples posts, vote, resteem, follow, mute Other users etc.

The active key

Its the next on my list, this key allow users to make more ta sky works like transferring funds, converting steel dollars, power up or power down transaction, Place market orders, updating profile and changing avatar.

The owner key

The next in line on the list is the owner key, the key allows user to be able to get back their lost accounts which they might have lost due to certain reasons best known to them. The owners key serve more enabling users to recover their lost accounts.

The master password

This key is the king of all the keys per say, if you lose this key to a fraudster just forget it because the person will steal all your funds just because he or she has access to your master password. This master password is used in generating all other aforementioned keys in steemit.
It is highly recommended that users should save this master password offline and avoid sharing with a third party.
So how do we generate this master password; the master password is the first key given to users automatically by the system, users can then activate or get other keys using the master password.

STEEM WALLET AND HOW TO MAKE STEEM TRANSFERS

Steam wallet is a place created, more like a file where steem coins can be stored, a space where steem coins can be accessed at anytime or transactions on Steem such as access to steem transfers are done. Below is a pictorial relay or
stages demonstration on how to access your wallet and how you can make Steem transfers successfully.
Go to your profile and click on wallet

a pop up menu appears, click on transfer to take you to the next page

Then input the receivers username and the amount of steem you want to transfer
Click on "next" to take you to the next page

Clicking on "OK" authenticates this transaction you can click on cancel if you want to cancel the transaction.

HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM

To power up your steem simply take the same procedure as shown above but you select "power up" this time around and not "transfer" see some screenshot guide below
