Security centers mostly on protection. It is an act of guilding or keeping save something of great importance.

Steemit And Security

Knowing the full importance of security, steemit has provided 5 permission keys to enhance security. Which are:

•Posting key: This key helps in accessing account, it is one of the important keys in steemit
•Owner key: This key is all about ownership of an account. It helps mostly in logging in and out of an account
•Memo key: As the name implies, this key helps in encrypted and decrypted messages. During transactioms it gives out a short messages which holds vital imformation.
•Active key: Most people fear being scammed during transaction. Now this is where this key comes into play, it helps in transaction and confirmation of transfers.
•Master key: This is an overall key. Why? Because it controls the activities of all other keys.

How Do You Plan To Keep Your Master Password?

Knowing fully well of the importance of the master password, i saved it in my gmail, including saving it as a pdf, writting it offline and also in messages.

How Are Transfers Made In Steemit?

The first step on making a transfer on steemit is: Log in to the steemit wallet

Step2- Click on transfer button

Step3- This is the page where you inpute the name and amount you want to send to the person and press OK.

Step4- Lastly click on sign in button using the Active key.

How do i power up my steem?

Step1- Already in the steemit wallet, click on power up button.

Step2- Input the amount you want it powered to, then tap on power up.

Step3- We tap on Ok button and lastly sign in using the Active key.

Conclusion

I now see the importance of all the keys, i intend to secure and keep them save because it is my access to the steemit world.
