Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day. This post will be for the purpose of completing Achievement 4: Aplying Markdown, so next we'll talk a bit about the importance of aesthetics in our articles and how this contributes to creating quality content on Steemit. Read on so that, with the guidance of our friend @cryptokannon, we can understand a little more about the process of markup.
This edition was made by me, Wilfred chima, in Enugu.
The Markdown is the tool that in Steemit helps us to give our articles more readability and aesthetics. Through Markdown we can justify and centralize text, use bold or italics, place titles, etc. Its use gives posts a much more professional feel to the eye, as you can see the effort, dedication and desire that someone has put into his work.

If we want to stand out on Steemit and create content that is considered quality, it is important to take into account all the factors that quality entails. This means that even if you've created a wonderful story or taken a spectacular photograph, the way you take care of the image of your content will always be what ignites the spark of interest in your audience. By taking care of the image, you are showing that you care about delivering a great product to your readers and community.
In order to achieve this in our beloved #steemit, you need to know the markdown. There are many guides that work perfectly to learn how to handle it. For example, @cryptokannon herself provides us with an excellent guide by proposing Achievement 4: Aplying Markdown.
Although it may seem like a complicated task at first, it's really not. With time and practice you will become quite the expert at embellishing your articles in the best possible way.

Beautifying our articles is paramount!
In addition to Markdown, there are other tools that can help us make our articles even more attractive.
Since it is important to create completely original content for the community, a very favorable option would be to create our own banners, covers or dividers in editing applications that suit our needs. There are many, many simple applications that lend themselves perfectly to this. In my case, I use an app called Enugu.

Enugu is a very simple application to use; you don't need to have previous knowledge of graphic design to know how to use it. Besides, in case you work on a computer, it also has a web page. It has tools to create banners, covers for your articles and several curious editions; concept maps, charts, etc. If you find this kind of things difficult, there are tutorials on the internet that can be very helpful.
I have created several designs in Enugu, for example:

Obviously, I am not a professional, but I have been able to fend for myself thanks to this application.
Showing that we care about the presentation of our posts is a step towards increasing the quality of our content.

In confidence, I share with you a trick to make the photos we share on #steemit look their best.
Lightroom app

Lightroom is an application, derived from Adobe, that is made to improve the lighting of our photographs. It has many options (besides a simple auto-fix) to make the edited photo look much better than its initial version. For example:

In my opinion, its use is extremely simple. In addition, it brings with it guides for beginners that include each of the workings of the application.
