Achievement 1: Reintroduction of Self

Hello, everyone!

I have been in Steemit for more than 2 years already. But, I decided to write a reintroduction of myself because this is already a comeback. Besides, there have been significant changes and new developments in this platform. And I am excited to dive in to the steemit ocean again.

I am Christian G. Yocte. I am hardworking, ambitious and very goal-oriented. These three qualities define who I was, who I am, and who I will be. I always exert the best of me in everything I do. Yes, mediocrity is not my thing and I am proud of that.

I am a public secondary school teacher in the Philippines. My students would label me as a disciplinarian teacher, and I am okay with that because that is what we truly need today -discipline. But I am also very cool. In fact, I have many students who are no longer under my wing but I still go out with them for excursions and roadtrips. I teach Technology and Livelihood Education or TLE specifically Technical Drafting where students do manual drafting and computer-aided design (AutoCAD). But, because of the pandemic and the scarcity of resources, this subject is not offered right now.

Travel makes me more excited and inspired about life. It is so amazing going to different places, meeting new people, experiencing the nature, and trying new foods. Moreover, it teaches us how to respect others’ beliefs, traditions, culture and the people themselves, while breathing in the air of relaxation and releasing all the negative energy in our lungs.

More importantly, I am here to share my artistic persona that is given by the greatest artist and creator of all - our Almighty God. Maybe, this side of me will inspire others to go out of their shell, explore themselves and do their passion. Maybe, this will paint a smile to a lonely individual. Maybe, this will entertain a sick heart. Just maybe.
