Greetings fellow steemians, trust y'all are doing well. With my Achievement 1 and Achievement 2 already verified, I'll be moving on to Achievement 3 and I'll be really brief but try to be clear
WHAT IS PLAGIARISM
To me I would say it's a direct copy and paste of someone's work making it look like you did it .
The Oxford English dictionary defines it as the act or practice of taking someone else's work, ideas and passing off as one's own.
When you practice plagiarism, means you intent to take credit for someone else's work which is discouraged here on steemit. On this platform where we've been given the opportunity to showcase our talents and creativity,if we must include someone's work to make it fun or interesting,we need to give the source or citation.
TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

So plagiarism could be done in different ways some of which are

  • copying another person's work word to word.
  • Making minor changes.
  • Referencing to an incorrect source .

HOW WE CAN AVOID PLAGIARISM

Inorder for us to avoid plagiarism, we can state the source of the work, picture or giving a citation for the original quote by using ""
For images we use pics from copyright free website like
https://shutterstock.com
https://pexel.com
https://unsplash.com
We are encouraged to be creative and conscious of what we present here on steemit.

 Here ends my Achievement 3
