Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have retrieved all my keys on steemit as soon as I signed up my PDF was downloaded that contain all my keys. I have my posting key, I have my Master key, active key, owner key and memo key.

Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes firstly I understand that those keys are my personal keys to my activities in steemit.

The posting key: This key is used for posting articles, commenting on other people's posts and to vote too. This key is very important for my socializing activities in steemit. If someone gain access to this posting key I don't have to be afraid of losing my money because he or she cannot used it to access my steemit wallet. You also use this key to resteem content, follow people and mute account.

Active Key: This key unlike the posting key has more permission or access to your tokens. You have to be very careful on how you use this key and the sites and Apps you enter this key to avoid losing your token in the future. Active key is very important in steemit as it is required when ever you are performing wallet related activities. Do you also know that you can use Active key to create a new user and many other amazing actions.

The owner key: This is another key that has additional permission to get back your account when you lost it. You can also use this key to change the other three keys. It is so sensitive that It can also be used to decline voting rights.

The Memo Key: This key is a bit of an outlier. It is used to encrypt and decrypt private messages that are sent through the blockchain. We are hoping that it will be more useful in the future but for now it is not commonly used. You can use it to decrypt your private messages. The memo key has minimum necessary authorities.

The master key: The master key as the name implies is the master of all the other keys in steemit. This is another key that you don't have to play with as it has additional permission to get back your account when you lost it. You can also use this key to change the other three keys. It is so sensitive that It can also be used to decline voting rights.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

I plan to keep my password safe in a private place where only me has access to. As it stands I have copied it into my diary and I kept it safe. I have it also in my email address. In this case I don't have to share these keys to anybody not even to my dear friend @ngoenyi. Yes, you don't make friends with these keys because they are like your life wire in steemit so that you alone will have access to your steemit wallet and activities.

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes I can transfer my steem token to another steem user account. If I want to transfer steem token to another user I will go to my steemit wallet, click the drop down arrow side steem balance, from the options I will choose transfer, then on the dialog box, I will type the user name of the person am transferring to, and the amount of steem to be transferred. I then click next and I will use my active key to complete the transfer. This is the screenshot of what I did below;

Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Yes I can power up my steem token. If I want to power up my steem token I will go to my steemit wallet, click the drop down arrow side steem balance, from the options I will choose power up, then on the dialog box, I don't have to type my user name because it will be there, so I will just type the amount of steem I want to power up. I then click power up and I will use my active key to complete the operation. This is the screenshot of what I did below;

In conclusion steemit keys are very good and well designed for the security of my steemit account. And I appreciate the idea behind the creation of these keys. Am assuring everyone here that with these keys your token and wallets are well secured. I am also grateful to @ngoenyi for her assistance to a newcomer like me thanks so much.
