It is @cosai99 again with the first task of achievement 5, understanding the tools involved with Steemworld. One may ask, What is Steemworld? Why do we need it if we have Steemit?

Today we are going to answer all your questions involving these tools and why exactly we need them. The is very important that we need them to ensure a smooth running of our account.

Introduction to Steemworld


What is Steemworld

Steemworld is a platform where users from all over get to monitor and manipulate their accounts as they please, and also gives a summary of information regarding the user's account. It has tools that can enable users to do exactly as we have mentioned, of course, the most outstanding and most frequently used, will be talked of in-depth later on. Why do we need Steemworld when we have Steemit?, as some of you may ask. Well Steemit may possess some of the tools that Steemworld may have to monitor your account's dealing, but may not have the other important tools needed for efficient use of the account.

This shows the User Interface of Steemworld when you log in.


Checking Results Summary✔💵📓

This tab gives you a brief summary of the user's rewards received during the time when the user's account is active, both the curator's rewards( rewards obtained when you vote on a post) and author's rewards(rewards obtained when you post a material).

  • Go to "Dashboard" on the homepage of Steemwold after signing in.

  • Scroll down to the "Rewards Summary" tab to view the All-time rewards, Last 30 days, and Last 7 days.


Delegations✔👍


Delegations are simply the Steem Power you have donated to another account for reasons of increasing the influence the account has over posts. Incoming delegations are delegations received to your accounts. Outgoing delegations are delegations you send to another account.

  • On the "Delegations" tab, click on "Delegate" to delegate to an account

  • In the pop-up window, type the account name and the amount of Steem Power(SP) you want to delegate.

  • Click on "OK".


Checking Votes👍✔


The number of incoming and outgoing votes on various posts you have interacted with is shown on the account information page after you click on the Dashboard hyperlink, as shown below,

As shown, incoming upvotes are 89 whiles the outgoing votes are 13.


Checking Account Operations


The recent activity involving the account can be also tracked in Steemworld by clicking the "Account Details". Details include:

  • Last vote time

  • Last root post

  • Last post

  • Last account recovery

  • Last account update

  • Last owner update

Explaining the kind of Rewards


Author's rewards are the rewards obtained from creating posts to a community on Steemit. Curator's rewards are the rewards that st are obtained from upvoting a post. The rewards depend on the SP that you hold on the platform. This will come in the form of Steem Power and SBD( Steem dollars).

Checking your upvote power


The upvote weights can be checked at the scroll knob found at the top left corner when you open the dashboard tab. Each percentage gives you a different curator reward and this can be regulated anytime by the user.
